Teeth cleaning method

A healthy and beautiful teeth brush is a best friend. The choice of toothbrush depends on the person himself, his dental status and habits. There is a very large selection of toothbrushes on the market today, but when choosing it is necessary to pay attention to two criteria that are important for the quality of the toothbrush: brush bristles and the size of the brush head for easier access to all areas of dental arches.

The bristles of the toothbrush should be thick to make cleaning teeth and tooth surfaces effective. Also, it is important to use a soft toothbrush so as not to damage the gums and cause the gums to retract which often happens to those who use hard bristle brushes. In addition to the bristles themselves, it is important that the brush is small enough to fit in the mouth and reach the farthest surfaces of the teeth. Regardless of which brush you choose, it should be changed regularly when you notice wear, and at least once every 3 months. The toothbrush needs to be replaced even after a bacterial and viral infection to prevent re-infection.

Which toothpaste to choose?

As with a toothbrush, the choice of toothpaste depends largely on the health of your teeth and gums. There are different types of toothpastes on the market such as tooth whitening toothpaste, for sensitive teeth and gums, and toothpastes on a purely natural basis. Regardless of which toothpaste you choose, we recommend that the toothpaste contains fluoride, which, when cleaning your teeth, will additionally protect your teeth from the products of metabolism.

Teeth cleaning also involves the active use of water. Mouthwash plays a much bigger role than removing bad breath. Regular use of mouthwash can reduce the amount of bacteria, slow down the formation of caries, prevent gingivitis and make your breath fresh. After brushing your teeth, fill the bottle stopper with water to the marked line (20ml), carefully rinse your teeth for 30 seconds and spit it out (do not swallow). There is a large selection of flavors on the market, and the choice depends on your taste.

Teeth brushing procedure:

Place the brush on your teeth so that one half of the brush covers the gums while the other half lies on the surface of the teeth.

In slow circular motions, with light pressure of the brush, move the brush along each individual tooth, at least 5-10 circles. The goal is for the brush to pass over each tooth and reach all the contours and depressions between the teeth.

Teeth also need to be cleaned on the inside (up to the tongue). When brushing your teeth, too, use small circular motions.

After you have cleaned the outer and inner surfaces, it is necessary to clean the chewing surfaces as well by placing the brush on them and pulling back and forth.

The same procedure needs to be repeated with the other jaw.
